Eligibility Requirements & Criteria
General Requirements

Submissions are open to all Recording Artists, Video Producers, Visual Artists, Vloggers, Music Producers, TV Shows, and Entertainers (comedians, radio personalities, DJs, etc.).

All applicants must be a Bahamian Citizen or Legal Resident.

Content must have been first released or published during the eligibility period: September 1, 2024 – September 1, 2025 (via Radio, Television, Streaming Platforms, or Social Media).

The Elevation Awards is not accepting EP or LP albums for consideration; only single releases are eligible. (Album details may still be referenced in resumes or portfolios for context.)

Submissions must be original work and not infringe on the rights of any third party. Entrants are responsible for securing necessary rights and permissions.

Each entrant may submit to a maximum of three (3) categories, unless otherwise noted.

Resumes and Portfolios may be submitted via PDF file or digital link.

The Elevation Awards reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all submissions.
Music Based Categories
(Female Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, New Artist of the Year & Song of the Year)

Each artist may submit up to three (3) singles released during the eligibility period.

All music files must be labeled as follows: Artist Name – Song Title – Featuring (if applicable).

Music submissions must be in .mp3 format.

Artist resumes (PDF or link) should include performances, endorsements, releases, collaborations, and other notable projects.
Video Based Categories
(Vlogs, Music Videos, TV Shows, Video Producers)

All video submissions must be provided via YouTube, Vimeo, or a downloadable link.

Short films must not exceed 30 minutes in length.

TV Shows, Podcasts, and Vlogs may submit a maximum of three (3) episodes (choose your best three). Supporting details such as viewer statistics, engagement data, or platform insights are encouraged.

Video Producers must submit:

A resume highlighting projects produced during the eligibility period.

A video reel featuring a minimum of three (3) projects completed within that period.

Portfolio Based Categories
(Bloggers, Visual Artists, Photographers, Music Producers & Entertainers)

Blogs must be active, up-to-date, and consistent in content publishing.

Visual Artists and Photographers must submit a portfolio (PDF or link) including samples of work, project/event details, and any supporting recognition or exhibitions.

Music Producers must provide:

A portfolio of projects and collaborations released during the eligibility period.

A demo reel highlighting production work.

Entertainers (comedians, radio personalities, DJs, etc.) must submit a resume outlining performances, appearances, endorsements, and projects completed within the eligibility period.
